Infrastructure: some nuclear medicine, currently planning a radiotherapy centre; no environment standard testing lab
National activities – mostly around country programme projects that are 1) planning for radiotherapy centre; 2) establishing a monitoring lab for marine environment for protection of coastal resources in the context of mining; 3) examining options for management of fruit flies
Fiji is cooperating with IAEA but also with South Pacific Commission, EU, AusAID (e.g. scholarships for study at Aus universities), NZAID, Japan International Cooperation Agency
