The Freshfields Course
1999 Joint Statement on Qualifying Law Degrees issued jointly by: The Law Society; and The General Council of the Bar. Certain “General Transferable Skills” were highlighted which must be taught to all students studying an undergraduate degree in Law. The Freshfields Course is for all undergraduates studying law who wish to enter the legal professions in England and Wales. University of Cambridge Faculty of Law

Syllabus The Freshfields IT Course during the year will cover: Printed resources (during Michaelmas Term); Lent Term: Aspects of the Internet and searching; IT in the working environment; UK Research sources; and European Research sources The Freshfields course does NOT teach: Basic computer skills; and Wordprocessing Signup for Printed Sources sessions begins 16 October University of Cambridge Faculty of Law
