Virtual and Online learning Personal Finance online at HS ; AP Human Geography; AP Env. Science and AP Computer Science Training of curriculum teams on “quality” technology integration Monthly PD with ETS and content leaders Technology curriculum to PK-8 , 9-12 embedded Implemented Learning.Com online tech program at K-5 Students take at least one online course Beginning all HS students will have the opportunity to take Personal Finance online Job mentoring and internships Review of Work Program underway and contact initiated with SCCC Business program review school year Keyboarding removed; from HS and Desktop Publishing II added Student use of digital portfolios and technology tools Workgroup formed November 2013 to select platform for use in PD with Content Leaders includes Technology integration for student su

Annual technology professional development day August 5, has been set aside for district tech PD; Summer tech festival planning in progress; Tech PD survey developed Competency-based technology professional development program Certified staff will take assessment Fall 2014; PD structure in development Independent and blended learning Part of Summer 2014 Tech Festival Technology assessment as part of hiring Not addressed in first semester Annual self-evaluation and evidence Waiting on new eval tool selection and PD for new tool Increased use of BYOD and Flipped classrooms Specific PD on these 2 areas held ???? with ??? Funding allocation for minimum standards Equity study and asset inventory underway Annual grant opportunities ITEF grant submitted and awarded ($108K); 2nd grant writing in progress (Sony) Expand E-rate Increased funding request to include new and upgraded network design and speeds Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) & Information Technology Service Management(ITSM) systems Went live with new system (Solarwinds) Fall break 2013 Mobile Device Management (with RFID) Review indicated not need at this time; plan adjusted to remove

Resource Distribution Highlights
Close technology access gap DTC goal - Survey of students access to tech and internet at home underway; results in January 2014 Promote and support BYOD Specific PD held/holding by ETS with XXX teachers participating Electronic textbooks and materials 6th grade Geography moved to digital, HS Environmental Studies selected digital resources Increased bandwidth DB and Warren, ALL HS and Heritage will get upgrades for 13-14; entire District upgraded school year
