ON MY CALL - YOUR GROUP WILL HAVE 1 MINUTE TO COME UP WITH AS MANY SPIRITUAL METAPHORS FOR THE PLACE OR OBJECT LISTED ON THE NEXT SLIDE (EX: SKY = HEAVEN) ONCE COMPLETE, ON MY CALL-YOU WILL HAVE 1 MINUTE TO USE YOUR DEVICE TO ADD TO YOUR LIST. YOU WILL WANT AS MANY AS YOU CAN GET WRITTEN DOWN! YOUR SUCCESS IN THE GAME WE ARE ABOUT TO PLAY DEPENDS ON THE # OF METAPHORS YOU HAVE! WE ARE TALKING FINAL EXAM EXTRA CREDIT HERE! Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life. As such, it is a universal human experience—something that touches us all

GAME ON!! GAME RULES: SELECT 1 PERSON IN YOUR GROUP TO PLAY THE THE BOARD. EACH PLAYER # IS YOUR GROUP #. PLAYER 1 WILL WRITE DOWN 1 METAPHOR ON THE BOARD, THEN PLAYER 2, PLAYER 3, AND FINALLY PLAYER 4. METAPHOR CAN NOT BE REPEATED & MUST TRULY BE A SPIRITUAL METAPHOR. EACH PLAYER GETS 1 TURN BEFORE ROTATING ORDER OF PLAYERS. 1ST PLAYER WHO CANNOT WRITE A METAPHOR WILL BE OUT. PLAY WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THERE IS ONLY 1 PLAYER LEFT STANDING. THIS GROUP WILL BE AWARDED THE POINT. AT THE END OF THE GAME, TEAM WITH THE MOST POINTS RECEIVES EXTRA CREDIT ON THEIR FINAL EXAM!! THAT’S INCENTIVE!

IN YOUR SKETCHBOOK, ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING 2 SLIDES IN DETAIL. THESE QUESTIONS WILL ASSIST YOU IN BRAINSTORMING FOR YOUR FINAL EXAM PROJECT. A GRADE WILL BE TAKEN ON YOUR PARTICIPATION, THOROUGHNESS, CREATIVITY (thinking outside of the box with your final project idea), & THE QUALITY OF YOUR CONCEPTS. SKETCHBOOKS WILL BE CHECKED UPON OUR RETURN FROM THANKSGIVING BREAK.
