CLIFF KUSHLER FOUNDER AND CTO, IS A CO-INVENTOR OF T9 TEXT INPUT SOFTWARE THAT IS INSTALLED ON OVER 4 BILLION MOBILE PHONES. WHAT IS SWYPE.? SWYPE IS A NEW METHOD OF INPUTTING TEXT IN TOUCH SCREEN GADGETS. THIS SOFTWARE LETS USERS OF TOUCH-SCREEN TYPE WITHOUT LIFTING THEIR FINGERS.

THIS TECHNOLOGY ENABLES USER TO INPUT WORDS EASIER AND FASTER THEN ANY OTHER DATA INPUT DEVICES MAXIMUM SPEED 40 WORDS PER MINUTE THIS APPLICATION IS DESIGNED TO WORK ACROSS A VARIETY OF DEVICES SUCH AS PHONES , TABLETS GAME CONSOLE, TELEVISIONS,AND VIRTUAL SCREENS AND MANY MORE.

EXISTING SYSTEM ALPAHANUMERIC KEYPAD A standard telephone keypad.
ALPHA NUMERIC KEYPAD IS THE KEYPAD THAT APPEARS ON A TOUC TONE TELEPHONE. IT WAS STANDARDISED WHEN THE DUAL TONE MULTIFREQUENCY SYSTEM IN PUSH BUTTON TELEPHONE WAS INTRODUCED IN 1960 AND REPLACED THE ROTARY DIAL. A standard telephone keypad. 0 = none (in some telephones, "OPERATOR" or "OPER") 1 = none (in some older telephones, QZ) 2 = ABC 3 = DEF 4 = GHI 5 = JKL 6 = MNO 7 = P(Q)RS 8 = TUV 9 = WXY(Z)

QUETRY KEYPAD IN 1873 SHOLE’S BACKER AND JAMES DENSMORE INTRODUCED THE
TYPE- WRITER KEYBOARD. LATER E.REMINGTON AND SONS COMPANY PURCHASED THE LICENCE AND MADE SEVERAL ADJUSTMENTS WHICH CREATED A KEYBOARD WHICH IS THE MODERN QUETRY LAYOUT.

PROPOSED SYSTEM THE PROPOSED JUST NEEDS A SLIDE OF FINGER OVER THE KEYPAD FOR TYPING THE TEXT. IT HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO WORK ON RELATIVELY LOW POWERED PORTABLE DEVICES. SWYPE TECHNOLOGY IS TIGHTLY WRITTEN WITH A TOTAL MEMORY FOOTPRINT OF UNDER 1MB. IT IS MADE OF THREE MAJOR COMPONENT. > INPUT PATH ANALYZER > WORD MATCHING SEARCH ENGINE WITH LARGE NO OF WORD DATABASE. > USER INTERFACE – CUSTOMIZED BY OEM‘S THE ALGORITHMS USED FOR SWYPE USES UNIQUE CONCEPT WHICH MAKES THE SOFTWARE BOTH POWERFULL AND FAST.

THIS SOFTWARE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FROM THE GROUND WITH AN EYE
TOWARDS LOCALIZING IT TO OTHER LANGUAGES AS WELL AS PORTING IT TO OTHER DEVICES. AVAILABLE IN 30 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES.

specification SWYPE IS FASTER THEN EXISTING TEXT ENTERY METHOD BECAUSE IT HAS BUILT IN-INTELLEGENCETHAT DOES NOT REQUIRE USER TO HIT EACH LETTER ACCURATELY. THE WORD “QUICK” IS GENERATED BY TRACING THE PATH SHOWN ABOVE IN FRACTION OF SECOND, BY ROUGHPLY AIMING TO PASS THROUGH THE LETTERS OF THE WORD.

EVEN A NOVICE USER CAN QUICKLY ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE DATA ENTRY
SPEED OF OVER 40WORDS PER MINUTE.

Swype automatically enters spaces for you.
Stastical tracking Advanced features Swype can be well equiped with either stylus or your fingertip. If anyone have large finger that partially obscures the keys ,swype still works. Auto spelling correction It has a large database of 65,000 words in its dictionary.
