Year 9 - Stuffed Peppers Method Preheat the oven to 190C Ingredients
Chop the pepper in half and deseed the pepper. Chop the onion into small diced cubes. In a bowl, mix the rice, chicken, onions, sweetcorn. Stuff the filling inside the pepper halves. Grate the cheese and place on the top Place the peppers on a baking tray and place in the oven for minutes Ingredients 1 whole pepper 50g cheese 50g cooked chicken 50g cooked rice (seasoned to your liking) 1 tin sweetcorn 1 onion / 2 spring onions

Year 9 – Enchiladas Ingredients I Fajita Kit 1-2 chicken breast
1 onion 1 red pepper Small tin of kidney beans 1 small carton passatta 50g cheese Method Chop the onion and pepper into slices On a separate chopping board, chop the chicken into strips/chunks In a saucepan add a little water to the base and cook the chicken, stir with a wooden spoon. Add the onions and peppers and fry until chicken is fully cooked. Add the kidney beans and spice seasoning Remove from the heat and place on your work space. Wrap the filling into the wraps and place the wraps in an oven proof container. Pour over the pasatta and grate the cheese over the top.

Year 9 – Pasta Bolognese Bake
Ingredients 100g pasta 250g lean mince beef 1 clove garlic 1 onion 1 green pepper 1 tin chopped tomatoes Tomato puree 50g cheese 1 beef stock cube Method Place the pasta onto boil Chop the onion and pepper into small diced cubes Crush the garlic or chop very small In a saucepan fry the mince, onions and peppers and garlic until the mince is brown. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato puree Crumble in the beef stock cube and leave to simmer Drain the pasta with a colander and add the pasta to the Bolognese. Place into oven proof container Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top

Year 9 – Thai curry Ingredients 1-2 chicken breasts 1 onion
2 tbsp Thai green curry paste 1 can coconut milk 1 lime 1 tbsp fish sauce 100g green beans Method Chop the onion into small diced chunks. Chop the green beans in half. On a separate chopping board chop the chicken into chunks Get the zest off the lime by using a grater – only get the green it. Collect the juice from the lime using a juicer. In a saucepan, add the onion and some oil and add the chicken. Stir until chicken is fully cooked. Tip in the paste and cook for 1 min more. Pour in the coconut milk, fish sauce, lime zest and juice Bring to a simmer, then add the beans. Cook for 5 mins.

Year 9 - Pizza Ingredients 1 pack bread mix Small carton pasatta
50g cheese 1 ball mozzarella Onion Pepper Sweetcorn Method Place the bread mix into a bowl and add warm water until a dough is formed. Knead lightly for 5 minutes Roll out into shape required and place on baking tray Add the pasatta on the bread and add the toppings finishing with the cheese Place in the oven
