12. What to Wear Appropriate clothing/attire for different seasons
Illinois has four seasons
In the summer, it can reach up to 38 degrees Celsius (100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Winter temperatures can reach below -10 degrees Celsius (below 0 degrees Fahrenheit)

13. Don’t Pack a Pest!
Know the Rules for Bringing or Mailing Food from Home
Declare all food and agricultural products to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials when you arrive in the United States
If you fail to declare agriculture items, customs officials may confiscate them and issue you a costly civil penalty
Make sure family & friends don’t send prohibited or restricted food or agricultural items to you
