Adopting the above mentioned slurry transporting equipment, Taolin the lead–zinc mine company has transported slurry for 280m up to the ground. The type of the pump is D25‐50×7, the pump head is 336m, and the flow is 28m3∕h. This slurry transporting equipment is also adopted in other Chinese mines to transport slurry, thus it can also be applied in deep-sea mining to transport ores.
