Upper Secondary School Exam (equivalent to Danish Upper Secondary School Exam) – passed! Specific entry requirements Differ from programme to programme and are referred to as subjects passed at Danish levels A, B and C – A being the highest level. Choose ”your programme” and ”application and requirements” at English language requirements

Students must keep informed in Unistart Rejection letters are sent through Unistart 30 July: Student places are offered through Unistart (Non-EU/EEA students medio May) Primo August (date will be announced later): students must accept the offered student places through Unistart, - otherwise the offer is repealed

SCREENING AND EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS
When the application has been uploaded in STADS DANS, the Admissions Office screens and validates the application and supporting documents. If all required documents are submitted, the application is sent to academic evaluation. The applicant can follow the progress of the application. If the applicant is qualified she/he will either be conditionally or fully admitted. If the programme is entry restricted all qualified applicant are not guaranteed admission.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirement: Danish B-level in English language Language and international Studies, English requires Danish A-level in English language Results of recognized English language test must be submitted! The English language test results must not be more than 2 years old at the time of the application deadline!

Recognized English language tests and required scores: Danish B level in English (minimum requirements) IELTS (academic test): or TOEFL (paper-based): or TOEFL (internet-based): 88 or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE) or Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Cambridge First Certificate with the grade B Please note! We do not accept Oxford Placement Test. Please note! Exemption from submitting an English language test will not be granted based on number of lessons taught.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Exemptions from submitting an English language test: Applicants who have passed either 'English level B‘ (in regards to Language and International Studies, English - 'English level A‘ is required) in upper secondary school in Denmark (minimum average grade 02) or a skills set test (realkompetencevurdering) in 'English level B‘(in regards to Language and International Studies, English - 'English level A‘ is required). Applicants holding an English taught qualifying upper secondary school exam, bachelor degree or master degree from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland or South Africa. Applicants holding a Danish, Nordic, German, or European Baccalaureate (from Schola Europaea) qualifying exam with an English level, which the Danish Agency for Higher Education considers equivalent to a Danish B level in English. In regards to Language and International Studies English the achieved English level must be considered equivalent to a Danish A level by the Danish Agency for Higher Education.

Exemptions from submitting an English language test: Applicants holding a passed English taught International Baccalaureate (from the IB diploma programme In regards to Language and International Studies English applicants must have passed an IB English course considered equivalent to a Danish A level by the Danish Agency for Higher Education. Applicants holding a qualifying upper secondary school exam (with a minimum of two years of instruction in English during the last three years of upper secondary school) from EU/EEA countries if it is stated on the national final diploma that the achieved level of English language qualifications is equivalent to level B2 referring to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In regards to Language and International Studies English level C1 (CEFR) must be stated as achieved level. Applicants holding a complete bachelor or master degree in English linguistics

NEW RULE EXPECTED IN 2017 – DOUBLE EDUCATION
Have your students already passed a professional bachelor’s degree, a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Denmark? The option of enrolling in yet another degree programme at the same level in Denmark will most likely be subject to changes in 2017 New legislation regarding restriction of double education is in progress in the Danish Parliament.
