Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (2015) Both require assessments of the local area Slightly different focus but work together Different geographic level of assessment SSWB – ‘Region’ – Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan WFG – LA – Cardiff LA, Vale of Glamorgan LA ‘Let’s talk’ engagement brand

Required under SSWB Act For Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan But lower geographies too, key populations and issues Should identify: ‘Care and support needs’ Including carers, preventative needs ...and specify ‘Range and level of services’ to meet the needs identified as far as possible

Example general questions
Is there anywhere (e.g. a place, a club, community group, charity etc.) in the community which makes a positive difference to your wellbeing? Anything which would help now or in future with wellbeing? Are you happy with any care and support services you receive? Why? Do care and support services help you feel safe?

Next steps PNA Ongoing engagement (online / face to face)
Finalise professional survey and distribute Operational leads workshop/s to pull together qualitative and quantitative data Council scrutiny, Health Board development Council & Health Board sign off
