“ I couldn’t have made it this far without my coach. His phone calls have really kept me in check and committed to becoming dip-free. ” Chad was a two-can-a-week tobacco user. From the moment he woke up to just before bed, he always seemed to have a chew in his mouth. He was getting tired of dipping, but just couldn’t find the motivation to quit. Fed up with his habit, he reached out Health Advocate for help. With his coach’s help, Chad formed a quit plan. He observed his triggers, recognized situations where he could eliminate chews, and employed tactics to delay his use, such as leaving his can in the car during work. In four months, Chad was able to reduce to just 2 dips per day! He plans to continue to work with his coach to eventually kick his habit for good.
