Properties of Nouns and Pronouns
Person
a. First Person – the person speaking (I, we)
b. Second Person – the person or thing spoken to (you)
c. Third Person- the person or thing spoken of (he, she, it, they, tree, basket)
Note: Nouns are in third person. Names of individuals are in the first person.
Names of individuals are in second person if they are spoken to.
