19 Motorbikes are female! There are some rules to remember.
der Volkswagen die Kawasaki There are some rules to remember. All male persons are masculine. All days of the week, all months and seasons are masculine. All makes of cars are masculine. All makes of motorbikes are feminine. All female persons are feminine. All alcoholic drinks are masculine, except for beer (neuter). Many plants are feminine. 70% of all nouns ending in –e are feminine. Nouns ending in –schaft, -heit, -keit, -ung, -tion, -ik are feminine. Nouns ending in –chen, -lein, -um, -ium are neuter.
