2. Features 360° direct print on cylindrical items
On-demand printing ― original products can be made by one unit.
Printable on cylindrical items which length is 600mm
and diameter of 10ｍｍ to 110ｍｍ
Printing on wide variety of cylinder items broadens
the range of application.
　　 *The maximum weight is 2kg(Large diameter)
and the maximum print width is 600mm(KebabMkⅡL).
Simple installment on UJF-3042/6024MkⅡ,
UJF-7151plus
Quick replacement on the table is possible,
because the option is easily removable
by a special connector.

※ It is not possible to place it on two rollers at the same time.
The setting varies depending on the diameter of the item.
・Diameter of 10mm~45mm (0.3937~1.772inch)
→ Small-diameter Setting
* Please set the table spacer to 50 mm.
・Diameter of 45mm~110mm (1.772~4.331inch)
→ Large-diameter Setting
* When the diameter is 64 mm or more, it is not necessary to set the table spacer.
*Please fix item by adjusting sliders.
*When printing in multi layers, uneven print density or layer gap may occur according to the weight or the surface of the item.
Please check the print quality beforehand.
*If the work is lightweight,color unevenness is likely to occur.
In case of bottles, adding water increases weight, making it easier to stabilize. 5

Edit function for Kebab data only
The main information is in one screen. The status of printer, the progress of ripping, the status of job can be checked at a glance. Nesting or composition of job are displayed visually. 1
The visual icons on the right side of the screen allows for the easy and quick setting of the print condition. 2
"Kebab printing" icon menu
An icon for Kebab appears in the menu list,
Print settings are now available on the
dedicated screen. 3
Additional function ―“Scale Calculation ”　for Kebab Circumference will be calculated and reflected after the diameter size keys in the software.
Frequently used setting can be registered as “My Favorite”.
Up to 100 settings can be registered.

10. Simple installment on UJF-3042/6042
Install Kebab option easily with attaching a specialized connecter
on the flat bed with screws.
There are M4 taps on the table to fix a jig.
Fix the Kebab option with screws, and load a specialized connecter.
Workflow
　① Select [Machine setting → Option fixture set] from
the operation panel of UJF-3042 / UJF-6042 MkⅡ,
UJF-7151plus and lower the table to the bottom.
* At this time, according to the diameter of the media
table spacer 50mm installed,or remove the table spacer
(excluding UJF plus)
②Attach a specialized connecter at the back of the table on
which the Kebab Mk II / L is mounted.
　③ Fix with screws the block at the specified position.
　④Put the KebabMkⅡ/L on the table.
　⑤Connect the main unit and Kebab Mk II / L
with a dedicated connector and select
[Option Jig Set: End] from the operation panel.
　⑥[Option fixture set: Kebab Mk II]
       [Option Jig Set: Kebab Mk II L]
Installation is complete when it is displayed.

What is the mechanism of printing on curved surfaces?
Since the material is placed on the rotating shaft, it is printed while the material itself turns. 2

What is the shape of the material that can be print?
Mainly cylindrical shape. Cones and spheres are not suitable.
Also, it is essential that the surface irregularities do not affect the rotation of the workpiece. 5

What is the maximum weight of the media set?

For lightweight work, the rollers slide and may not rotate well. In case of a bottle, putting water in it will increase the stability. 7
How do you adjust the head gap?
When you enter the diameter in the work set, the table automatically adjusts the height.
The recommended gap is 1.5 mm. 8
Is there a height restriction for work?
It is maximum Φ 110 mm. 9
Which model does Kebab Mk II support?
It supports UJF-3042MkII.

Chose "Kebab Origin Setting" menu and align with the light pointer. (For large diameter set, you can use origin sensor.) 12
How can we decide to use wide or narrow span setting?
It is determined by the work diameter. If it is a thin material less than Φ 45 mm, please use the inner roller (narrow span setting)
If it is Φ45 mm or more, use the front roller (wide span setting).
* For Φ 10 mm to Φ 64 mm, raise the unit by 50 mm with the table spacer attached to the printer. (excluding UJF plus) 13
Is it possible to put more than one work at the same time?
It is possible to arrange them side by side within the printable area.
In that case, imposition of the image on the RIP or illustrator is required. 14
How do you create data?
Create a rectangular data in which the area of the side of the cylinder (height of the cylinder x circumference) is replaced by a plane. 15
What do we need to do for start up?
Select [Machine settings → Option jig set] on the main unit panel, and connect and disconnect the dedicated connector. After, select ENT.

What do we need to do to stop?
There is nothing in particular. You can turn off the power while keeping Kebab on the pedestal. Maintain daily maintenance of the printer itself, such as head cleaning.
If ink adheres to the roller, please perform maintenance. 17
Can you print primer?
Printing can be done, but if data goes round the cylinder, the mark of the roller will be lost.
Please consider splitting the data and printing, or printing only on a part. 18
Can you print clear and clear glossy for finishing?
Clear data can be printed.
Clear glossy finish is not available. 19
Does color unevenness occur during printing?
If the work itself is not a perfect circle, slight color unevenness tends to occur.
