PAN Online Process by UTIITSL - a walkthrough

Access Login To avail the PAN Online services, the VLE user can login through their existing VLE-ID or User Id and password. On successful login, VLE user clicks on PAN Card option which will redirected to the PAN services portal offered by UTIITSL. URL

VLE has to Login through his existing User ID and Password in their portal

Once entered with correct user id and password, VLE user can select PAN card link

Clicking on the PAN card link opens up the PAN Online services for the VLE user on the UTIITSL portal with all information and menu options

VLE user selects the New PAN Application option under PAN services menu-pad

Clicking on New PAN Application opens up the PAN Form page for online data entry

VLE user should verify the physical documents available with the applicant and fill up the online application form.

VLE user should fill in all details online on the form page as per instructions provided

Once the complete information is filled in online, clicking on ‘submit’ leads to Application Validation process by the system

VLE user takes out the printout of the filled up form, pastes applicant’s photos and takes signature of the applicant at the designated locations on the printed form

VLE user scans this printed application form with photos affixed and signatures present and uploads the scanned image alongwith photo and signature images (3 image files)

The scanned image files upload facility is available under PAN services through the Upload Documents option

VLE user takes printout of the application form VLE user pastes photo and takes signature of the applicant on the printed form The application form alongwith supporting documents needs to clubbed and scanned into a single file (PAN Application form (front & back side) to be scanned in 200dpi, color - PDFA format) The size of complete scanned Application file can be Maximum upto 2MB VLE user scans photo of the applicant Photo Scanning 300 dpi, Color, 213 X 213 pixel (Size less than 30 kb) in JPEG format. VLE user takes a signature on a separate white sheet and scans it. Signature scanning 600 dpi –black and white (less than 60 kb) in JPEG format. VLE user retains separate photo and signature scanned images and uploads appropriately by selecting relevant options provided in the portal i.e. Photo in place of photo to be uploaded and Signature in signature place. In all, 3 scanned image files viz. Appln form with doc proofs, Photo, Signature need to be uploaded

System built-in Auto-validation of scanning specs - Any difference in size and specs, the system will throw showing the details

If Upload Documents runs successfully, VLE user gets redirected to their e-wallet for deduction or auto-debit for a record of payment transaction

On successful transaction normally, the system generates an Acknowledgement Receipt that the VLE user hands over to the applicant

If any error reported in normal run or last attempt failed, the VLE user has an option of re-attempting payment on for specific application and normal payment process follows with generation of Acknowledgement Receipt

PAN Processing and Dispatch
Once the full lifecycle of application is completed by the VLE users, the central or HO team creates lots for making consolidated payments to UTIITSL by selecting only the applications cleared across all VLEs with successful payment PAN Application processing at UTIITSL Once the Payment is received, verified as realized at UTIITSL end, the applications attached to this payment lot will move into the processing zone with verification of scanned forms uploaded by VLE Only the clear applications will move for PAN allotment and objection marked cases will be intimated back to VLE level for objection clearance and further processing at their end. Once the PAN allotted, the PAN Cards will be dispatched directly to the applicants at their communication address as provided in the application form, through Speed Post/ Courier.

Objection clearance at VLE user end - The objection cases will get displayed under PAN Objection menu for clearance and further processing

VLE clears the objection by making necessary edit modifications in the PAN application, after consulting the corresponding applicant

Once the application edited/ modified, VLE user uploads documents in right form as in the normal process cycle – printout, photo affix with signature, scanning, upload.

PAN Tracking Query VLE has an option to check the PAN card status using Application number / Coupon number using “Track your PAN Card” option available under PAN Services.

VLE can track the status by giving the Application number / Coupon number

Application status is displayed giving the last updated stage at any time

VLE user may log out at any point of time once the activities are over
