* Provide reading materials including primer on country, overview of Jesuits / Ignatian Spirituality
* Cost is 800 USD
* Capacity = 30 SLP students
* Reduce 7-day immersion to 5 days

2. Background
Health Care is a fundamental need and right of all. Yet, there are high economic and cultural costs in receiving health services
This is the reason why one of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for 2030, #3 in particular focuses on Good Health and Well-being
In the Philippines, the new administration resonates with SDG 3 on it’s Health Agenda of referred to as “All for Health towards Health for All”
In response to the call/challenge of Pope Francis: “This joy of the explicit proclamation of the Gospel — through preaching the faith and practicing justice and mercy — is that which leads the Society to go to all the peripheries…”

3. Purpose For students to be able to:
Understand the health conditions of different marginalized sectors and communities;
Demonstrate collaborative learning while working with groups/organizations that engage communities in advocating for health and wellbeing;
Increase their ability to reflect, synthesize and act on one’s community experience
