3. Importance of Environmental Conservation
So we can conserve LIMITED resources (e.g. fresh waters etc)
Next generation will have a better life
Protect mother nature
Reduces energy/water usage emission/waste

5. Current Problem
Energy People are wasting electricity on air-condition even though it is not necessary as it is not cost efficient and it contributes to global warming.

6. Solution 1
Use Ceiling fan instead of Air-condition as it is cost efficient.

As you can see Air-con doesn’t save as much money as ceiling fan

8. Solution 2
Use timer for air-conditioner to save electricity and money. This will help you control the time when to start or stop the air conditioner unit.
Not only that you will save money but you can program the timer to start the unit an hour before you get home.
We will not overuse the air –conditioner and will not waste electricity and pay expensive bills monthly.

9. When sleeping…use air conditioner timer
How much energy does your air conditioner use ?
If you’re running just one air conditioner 8 hours a night for a year ,you’re going to spend roughly $1,186 dollars annually.
If you use the timer setting on your air conditioner and program it to shut off after 4 hours, your bill drops to just $593 annually. And if you program it to shut down after 2 hours, your bill drops to $296 annually.
It’s definitely saves a lot of money!

Constant reminders to Singaporeans to conserve electricity through television advertisements as well as through radio broadcasts.
Able to reach a large audience through television and radio.
This will help create more awareness to the people the impact of human to the environment.

11. Advantages of saving electricity
You don’t have to pay costly bills if you don’t waste electricity
It will prevent global warming/greenhouse gases
It will save the animal’s habitat from being polluted
More electricity can be used in the future

12. 3 Things we can help to save the earth
We should not waste electricity as if we use more electricity, the power station will produce more electricity. Therefore, the power station will produce more smoke that pollutes the world.
Reduce Reuse and Recycle so that there will be less rubbish to burn and bury
Use public transport to prevent Global Warming and there will be less greenhouse gases
