So, your subtotal is $92 (what a steal)
The tax is still $18.98
So you end up paying $110.98

4. To get the markdown I multiplied the full price (230 dollars) by the discount in decimal form. (15% = .15)
To get the tax I used the same method I used to get the markdown. ( 230(.0825))

5. One thing I noticed is that a 15% discount didn’t even make a dent in the $230 after tax was added
2) Tax will always come back to be a pain
3) The 60% off “deal” made you pay a little less than half the price. Good enough I guess.
