The Thomas Alleyne Academy Need to be at school by 6.30am Saturday 15th July Students need to meet at the school at 6.30am (yes, really!) on Saturday 15th July. Luggage should be limited to one small rucksack for day trips and one bag for the boot of the coach. Bags need to be an appropriate size (we are only going for four days) and students must be able to carry their own luggage from the coach to the accommodation. You may want to bring a small travel pillow for the coach journey.

What do I need? Students need to bring a packed breakfast/lunch that will last them all day on Saturday. We will not be eating until the evening meal and motorway services can be basic with very long queues. No fizzy drinks on the coach please, but water and sweets are permitted as long as all rubbish goes back into student bags.

Essential: Passport and EHIC Clothes for 4 days Sensible footwear e.g. trainers (walking is involved every day) Waterproof coat and sun cream - we can’t book the weather! Any medication needed, including hay fever and travel sickness Spending money for souvenirs, lunch and snacks Refillable water bottle Towel (small and large) Optional: Mobile phone Reading book (or similar for the coach) Travel pillow for the coach journey

Additional Costs Spending money for lunch, gifts or souvenirs (maximum of 100 euros in an envelope) Spending money and passports will be kept by staff for safekeeping. Group leaders will look after the money.

The Thomas Alleyne Academy Students can take phones (but teachers are not responsible for them). If students are bringing any of the above they must remember their charger and European adaptor. A reminder that calls, texts and data abroad can incur additional charges.

Travel Documents Valid UK or EU passport is required (with at least 6 months left on it) Any other passport will require a visa

Twitter updates We will update the school Twitter account with images and important information regarding the journey (including delays on the return journey)

Collecting your child Due to our late return, students will not be permitted to walk home. They need to be collected from the car park by an adult. If your child is being collected by another parent, a proof text must be shown to a group leader before we can dismiss your child.

£30 deposit has been paid First instalment payment suggestion was 15th February of £100. Second instalment payment suggestion was 31st March of £100 Final payment suggestion was Friday 12th May of £100 Deadline for all payments is Friday 12th May This includes the coach, the evening meal and accommodation costs only
