Learning Objectives You will revisit your original claim and exploration questions making revisions based on our in class debrief. You will create a poster to present your claim that reflects your research.

Instructions: Write down 3 observations you can make from this graph on your scrap paper.

Answer: Graph depicts children’s survival:
HbSS- Children who were homozygous for the Sickle Cell gene fared the worst. HbAA- Children who were without the Sickle Cell gene had an advantage over those who were homozygous for the Sickle Cell gene. HbAS- Those children who were heterozygous for the Sickle Cell gene had an advantage over those without the Sickle Cell gene.

Revisions Revise your research questions based on our debrief.
Look to find graphs, diagrams, charts or other statistical data to prove or disprove your original claim.

Research Project Create a poster with your partner:
The poster should include: On One Side: An explanation for how you arrived at your claim. Include evidence to prove or disprove your claim. On the Other Side: Provide a graph, maps, diagram, or chart to explain your evidence. Use academic vocabulary. Add color!
