Definitions Mobility Management Mobility: ability and capability for moving – requires access to means of transport as well as access to transport infrastructure Transportation: actual moving – a countable trip with one of the available means of transport Mobility Management: “Mobility management is a concept for promoting sustainable transport and dealing with the question of car use by modifying the habits and behaviour of travellers. The core of this mobility management is formed by “soft” policy measures such as information and communication, organisation of services and the coordination of activities of the various partners”.
