3. Anguillara Sabazia

4. Anguillara takes its name from an ancient Roman villa called "Angularia" because its kind where the coastline forms a right angle. His story was linked for many centuries to the family of Anguillara and he has a first report on a military settlement in the eleventh century.

5. The family held the estate until 1488, the year of death of the last of Anguillara. The castle had long been coveted by Gentil Virginio Orsini d'Aragona, who, being Lord of Bracciano would gladly extended his dominion over the lake.
In 1693, the possession of the land had passed from the hands of the Orsini to Odescalchi .

6. Anguillara Sabazia belongs to the province of Roma and is 51 kilometers far from Roma, that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province.
Anguillara Sabazia has a population of inhabitants (Anguillaresi) and a surface of 74,9 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 190,07 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 195 metres above the sea level.

7. Acqua Claudia. From the ancient Hot Springs Emperor Claudius.
It is dated April 17, 1909 the first book of the members of "Water Claudia" is a brand that lives for over 100 years ago, but has much more ancient origins. Water flows from the fact hot springs Claudia Emperor Claudius, to Bracciano Lake in the heart of Lazio, and its properties have been known since Roman times.

8. Claudia Villaromana Water
The archaeological site called "Villa Claudia Romana Water" is located in the area surrounding the establishment of production of water Claudia. It was discovered in 1934 and the villa is one of the most important monuments of the history of Roman curvilinear. From the first half of the first century BC, the building is located on a hillside, is divided into three different levels and functional structure that, just around the water, build a complex architecture that uses sophisticated plumbing systems. ..

9. Fish Festival
The Fish Festival is held annually Anguillara in the second half of June. The great protagonist of the event is just the fish that is served in numerous «fraschette» placed on the walks along the lake. Lattarini fried, grilled whitefish are the delicacies served during the festivities.
The event was originally on May 15, 1956, when the Pro-Loco together with some local fishermen invented the "flirt", the typical food stand equipped with everything you need to cook the fish. The party was enlivened by games, music and dancing.

10. Trevignano Romano

11. Trevignano is a picturesque village with about inhabitants which lies on the northern shore of Lake Bracciano or Sabatino. Built on a basalt cliff, this village is located on the edge of a small bay, a secondary crater of an ancient volcan.
Because of its geographical position, facing south, and the presence of thermal waters, the place has always attracted the human presence.

12. Trevignano welcomes visitors with its beautiful medieval village, the lake with trees and places where you can enjoy local specialties in a magical atmosphere created by the gentle waters of the lake and its clear colour.

13. Ecoborgo Feast of the other economy
In Trevignano "Ecoborgo - Feast of the other economy" takes place. This event is organized by the Cultural Ondadelago and sponsored by the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Trevignano. During the day there are sales exhibition of organic products, fair trade, eco-friendly crafts, seminars, workshops for children, performances by street artists.
