2. History of Jeepney - During the World War II, jeeps were
used as military vehicles.
- After the war, the locals transformed the jeeps into passenger vehicles that can accommodate 9 persons.
- Today, jeeps were innovated into more accommodating public transport vehicles.
- As solution to income problems of the jeepney operators, patok jeepneys were born.
