Option 1 (Proficient) - All domains on most recent ACCESS are 5 or above [option “a” in the drop down]
Note: Only use this option if EACH language domain (Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening) is >=5

Option 2 (Proficient) – Scored WiDA Speaking Rubric (5 or above) and scored WiDA Writing Rubric (5 or above) with the corresponding Writing Sample that demonstrates proficiency [option “b” in the drop down]
Upload Required: (1) WiDA Speaking Rubric and (2) WiDA Writing Rubric + (3) Sample
Option 3 (Not Proficient) - Not all domains are 5 or above on the most recent ACCESS and the Speaking and Writing Rubrics would not demonstrate Fluent English Proficiency (4 or below) [option “d” in the drop down] No Upload Required
English Language Fluency
Option 1 - A report card grade or any assessment from the drop down menu that has a score available in IC or SchoolNet that demonstrates proficiency or lack of proficiency in Reading and Writing/Language Arts
No Uploads Required for: Report Card / Term Grades, CMAS (PARCC), DRA2, STAR, SRI, MAP, CoACT
Option 2 - Any other BOE in the dropdown menu without scores available in IC or SchoolNet that demonstrates proficiency or lack of proficiency in Reading and Writing or Language Arts
Uploads Required (Elementary): (1) Reading BOE found in drop down menu (Note: The writing BOE for Elementary must be a report card grade)
Uploads Required (Secondary): (1) Language Arts BOE found in drop down menu
Literacy / Language Arts
Option 1 - Select two report card grades or enter assessments from the guidance criteria that have scores available in IC or SchoolNet and demonstrates proficiency in 2 of the 3 content areas: Math, Science, Social Studies
No Uploads Required for: Report Card / Term Grades, CMAS (PARCC), SMI, MAP, CoACT
Option 2 - Enter any other 2 BOE assessments from the guidance criteria without scores available in IC or SchoolNet that demonstrates proficiency or lack of proficiency in 2 of the 3 content areas: Math, Science, Social Studies
Upload Required: (1) Math, Science, Social Studies BOE and (2) a second Math, Science, Social Studies BOE
Core Content
The trigger for Redesignation is when an EL has scored a 5 or above on their Overall and Literacy scores on the most recent ACCESS

2. Redesignation Forms Language Proficiency
Option 1 (Proficient) - All domains on the most recent ACCESS are 5 or above (option “a”)
Note: Only use this option if EACH language domain (Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening) is a 5 or above.
Option 2 (Proficient) - Scored WiDA Speaking and Writing Rubrics that are a 5 or above with corresponding Writing Sample that demonstrates proficiency (option “b”)

Option 3 (Not Proficient) - Not all domains were 5 or above on the most recent ACCESS and the Speaking and Writing Rubrics would not demonstrate Fluent English Proficiency (option “d”)
