2. WHAT IS “SHOP WITH SCRIP?”
In short, it is a gift card fundraising program in which YOU purchase cards from merchants of YOUR choosing (over 700), in the amount that YOU want, when YOU want to do it. No more buying things that you don’t want or need! You pay face value for the cards (ex: a $100 card costs you $100).

3. HOW DOES IT BENEFIT GVMPA AND MY MUSIC STUDENT?
With each purchase, GVMPA receives a rebate of generally 2-15%, depending on what is offered by the merchant.
That rebate will then be SPLIT evenly between GVMPA and your student.
An example:
$100 gift card purchase to Old Navy, with rebate of 14% = $14 total rebate. $7 goes to GVMPA general fund and $7 goes to your student’s music account.

4. EXAMPLES OF HOW EVERYDAY PURCHASES CAN ADD UP!
Gas - $150/month at WaWa or Exxon x 2% rebate = $36 per year
Groceries - $300/month at Giant x 4% rebate = $144 per year
Back-to-School Shopping - $500 at Old Navy, Gap, etc x 14% rebate = $70 per year
Dining Out - $200/month in casual dining x 10% rebate (average) = $240 per year
Holidays/Birthdays – $500 in Gift cards for family and friends x 7% (average) = $35 per year
TOTAL: $525 !!

6. HOW TO REGISTER Go to www.shopwithscrip.com
Click on the green “get started” button in the upper right corner
Click on “join your existing program” button
Enter this code: FE68EE4553L68
Complete the personal information section. Don’t forget to enter your student’s name.
Click “register”
It’s that easy!!

7. SHOP FOR GIFT CARDS (SCRIP)
Go to
Sign-in with your user name and password
Click “shop” at the top of the page
You’ll find a sortable menu of over 700 merchants from which to choose! You can shop alphabetically, by category, by card type, by rebate percentage and/or by denomination.

8. CHOOSING THE TYPE OF CARD (SCRIP)
There are three (3) types of cards from which to choose, depending on what is offered by the merchant.
Physical – a physical gift card will be mailed to the GVMPA Coordinator merchants currently offer this.
ScripNow – is an e-card that will be ed to you, typically within 24-hours or less merchants currently offer this.
Reload – once you’ve already ordered a physical gift card, some merchants provide the ability to “reload” that card with an online transaction merchants currently offer this.

9. PAYING FOR THE CARDS
There are essentially two options for making payment:
PrestoPay - This is a transfer from your checking account. You’ll have an option at checkout to provide your account and routing information. Once it is set-up, you don’t need to do it again. After enrollment, you’ll follow the instructions below.
Your account information has been saved!
Two random amounts of money will be deposited in your checking account that you defined in the previous step. This typically happens within 2 business days of you entering your account information.
As soon as you see the deposits in your account, make a note of the amounts. Then return to this area of ShopWithScrip.com to verify the set-up of your PrestoPay™ account.
After successfully verifying your PrestoPay™ account, you will be sent an approval code. You will need to contact your program coordinator and give them this code to complete the enrollment process.
Check to GVMPA – GVMPA can/will submit bulk orders to ShopWithScrip, and you can pay us by physical check or PayPal.

10. OWN A LOCAL BUSINESS?
Favorite pizza place? Ice cream shop? Hair salon? Local businesses can be added to the ShopWithScrip program, too.

Friends, family, neighbors are welcome and encouraged to participate!

12. Disney Trip
You may be wondering, “How do I take advantage of ShopWithScrip and other student fundraisers to offset the costs of going to Disney?” I’m glad you asked!
Start early….raise funds all 4 years of high school, or start in middle school.
Fall Mums – sell just 20 plants each average student benefit of $5 per plant = $400
Wawa Cards – sell just 100 coupons each student benefit of $1 per card = $400
Pointsettas – sell just 20 plants each average student benefit of $5 per plant = $400
ShopWithScrip – make everyday purchases during high school years
Gas - $150/month at WaWa or Exxon x 2% rebate = $72 for your student
Groceries - $300/month at Giant x 4% rebate = $288 for your student
Back-to-School Shopping - $500 each year at Old Navy, Gap, etc x 14% rebate = $140 for your student
Dining Out - $200/month in casual dining x 10% rebate (average) = $480 for your student
Holidays/Birthdays – $500 in Gift cards each year for family and friends x 7% (average) = $70 for your student
By doing the above, you will have earned enough for BOTH Disney/Universal trips!!
