1How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!
2My soul longs, indeed it faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.
3Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.

11. Sometimes we do less than God expects
Sometimes we do less than God expects. We show that we are human and forget his guiding hand. We ignore His word in our hearts, and act without thinking. We ask for God’s hand. We rest in His love. We rush, and bluster, careless of the world and those within it.

12. We push to one side God’s voice in our hearts, and let other voices rule our actions. We ask for God’s hand. We rest in His love. We speak loudly and harshly, letting our words hurt or exclude. We ask for Gods hand, We rest in His love. Amen

18. Make me a channel of
your peace,
where there is hatred
let me bring your love;
where there is injury,
your pardon, Lord;
and where there’s doubt,
true faith in you.

19. O Master, grant that
I may never seek
so much to be consoled
as to console,
to be understood
as to understand,
to be loved,
as to love with
all my soul.

20. Make me a channel of your peace,
where there’s despair in life,
let me bring hope;
where there is darkness,
let me bring your light;
and where
there’s sadness, ever joy.

21. O Master, grant that
I may never seek
so much to be consoled
as to console,
to be understood
as to understand,
to be loved,
as to love with
all my soul.

22. Make me a channel of your peace, it is in pardoning that
we are pardoned,
in giving of ourselves
that we receive,
and in dying
that we’re born to
eternal life.
