An overscheduled student has chosen to take too many AP or Honors courses AND/ OR has chosen to take courses that are too challenging for him or her. What are the risks? Lack of sleep, extreme stress and anxiety (isolation, increased absences, depression), inability to maintain passing or satisfactory grades Prevention plan: Think carefully and realistically about your goals and abilities. Choose courses you are genuinely interested in. Consider all of your courses as a whole Consider your other commitments. Do you have enough time for all your classes, sports, social life?
