Tim’s father won a special award for the (better, best) local writer. I like his last book (better, best) than his first. The first one was not the (bad, worst) book I have read. I have read a (worse, worst) book than that.

5 We wanted to become ___ readers than we were. (good)

6 Tim said that writing would be the better practice of all.
Our first paper had the worse mistakes of all. The second paper was much good than the first. My first story was not the better work I have done. In fact, it was the bad thing I have ever written.
