You are able to see “real-life” teachers

Once you feel comfortable, you will be relieved of anxiety and be more prepared for your next observations

8. Searching for school district: requirements and locations
Make student teaching a top priority for the semester
Punctuality is very important. Report to the school on time and remain until the end of the school day
Learn the students’ name as quickly as possible using different strategies
Contact with your supervisor on a regular basic

9. Take PPR test right after block 1 CUIN 3323 and INDS 3323 while the information is still fresh
45 hours observation ASAP

Do not wait until the morning of the lesson to get them completed.

10. Be flexible Student Teaching
Try to keep things flexible so you won’t be completely derailed when students don’t respond the way you hope
Be ready to take extra work to get further experience and impress your coordinating teacher but DO NOT over work yourself

11. Prepared for the Unexpected
Along those same lines, when the unexpected does happen, be prepared and ready for anything and everything to happen
Keep a few backup lessons on hands to keep your students busy
Teaching is an unexpected journey that is better to laugh than to stress
