2. Pyramid Base is a polygon and sides are triangles meeting at a point
Regular pyramid: a pyramid whose base is a regular polygon (all sides and angles are congruent)

3. Pyramid Parts b: Base- the side length of the base
h: Height- the distance from the center of the pyramid to its apex (top vertex)
s: Slant Height- the distance from the apex to the center of the side of the base

4. Surface Area of Pyramids
Add up the area of the base and the lateral faces

Find the surface area of this square pyramid.

Find the surface area of this regular triangular pyramid.

Find the surface area of the composite solid. Assume that the bottom of the base is a square.
