3. Word of the Week
This week the word is hangar. A hanger is a large building where aircraft are kept.
Use this word in a sentence like this: ‘The plane left the hangar and moved slowly
towards the runway’. For more information check out the blue notice board in the
library area. All pupils and staff are invited to choose a Word of the Week.

£2 for the Ref must be paid to Mr Swindells in M11 by Tuesday 21st February to confirm your place in the squad. We have a big squad now which is fantastic but I can only take 16 players to this game so please ensure you get your money in as soon as possible or let me know if you are unable to make it.

6. S1 Football Team
We have an AWAY match on Friday 24th February after school versus James Young.
The team sheet is up outside the PE base next to the games hall. If you CAN play, please tick your name off on the sheet. If you are UNABLE to play please let Mr McDonald or Mr Baird know asap please. Players will be required to pay £3 to cover costs of the bus.

7. S2 INTERHOUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Monday 6th March am S2 Interhouse Fooball Tournament Must come to school in P.E kit. No football strips Team lists will be put in your social area and will be outside the canteen. If you can’t participate please speak to your teacher. Please remember to bring your school uniform to change into after the football.

9. S3 - Immunisations
Immunisations will be taking place in Base 6 (Ms McGregor’s classroom) on Tuesday 21st February. Base 6 is across from the guidance base. Please ask your registration teacher for your appointment time and ensure that you take note of this in your planner. If you are given an appointment time and have requested not to receive the immunisations, please ignore the
time you are given and attend class as normal. Please ensure that you are at Base 6 for your appointment time. If you have not returned your form, you will not receive the immunisation and should not attend your class allocated time.

17. S6 Final Prom Payment Final payments of £20 to be made before
March 31st
If you fail to hand in before this date you will be unable to attend Prom and you will lose your deposit.
