Week in Review:
at Next Week
This week we met ay friends and used this vowel team to write new words! In math, we had fun estimating, sorting and patterning hearts of all kinds. We wrote about things that we love and why. To help improve our fine motor skills, we used chop sticks to pick up candy hearts and sort them and made patterns by stringing heart beads. We loved our chocolate box sight word game too!
We really enjoyed making our Valentine bags before the class party. On Tuesday, we had our Valentines party! Thanks to all who helped and made our party a great success!

*Presidents – discuss our government: who is our president, where is the capital, our flag….
*Practice The Pledge of Allegiance
*Discuss our national color
*Talk about voting
*Explore information about our country online and in books
*Sight Words – try highlighting them in junk mail.
*Counting to 100 by fives and tens.
*Count to 20 by twos and count backwards from 20 to 0.
*Identifying money and its value.
*Sort coins from a piggy bank.
*Earn coins by having good behavior or practicing school work. Save up for a purchase.
