Tablet Application The presentation is organized in three parts. Part 1 explains about GPS activation and selection of GPS Modes based on Signal Strength. Part 2 explains about installation of Survey123 Mobile App and completion of BMF with screenshots. Part 3 explains about CAD Drawing of PS Building and Key Map View

Part 1 Activation of GPS & Selection of GPS Modes

Activate GPS Open Tab Options and click on “Location” to activate GPS
Activate GPS Open Tab Options and click on “Location” to activate GPS. Long press on “Location” icon to open GPS Preferences.

Click on “High Accuracy” to open GPS Modes
Click on “High Accuracy” to open GPS Modes. GPS Modes can be changed based on the signal strength at the Polling Station Location.

GPS MODES A) If Internet Signal Strength is Good then select “High Accuracy” Option B) If Internet Signal Strength is Poor then select “Device Only” option

Part 2 INSTALLATION OF SURVEY123 USING BMF APPLICATION

1. Open Google Play and type survey123 for ArcGIS 2
1. Open Google Play and type survey123 for ArcGIS 2. Click on Survey123 for ArcGIS Application to install the App.

4. Click on ACCEPT Button to start installation

6. First Screen after opening the Survey123 Application after installation 7. Click on the Wheel Icon on top-right side in the screen. (Indicated with Red Arrow)

8. Text box provided at the bottom of the screen for entering the URL of CEO GIS Portal address. (Indicated with Red Arrow)

9. Click in the text box & type URL of CEO GIS Portal address & click on “Add Portal” Button

10. After clicking on “Add Portal”, the CEOGIS Portal will be added to the portals list and appear in the top. 11. Click on “Chief Electoral Officer” Link to open the CEOGIS Portal

12. User Name & Password screen will be opened
12. User Name & Password screen will be opened. Enter User Name & Password provided to your District and click on “SIGN IN” Button

13. After Signing In for the first time, the screen will appear like this. 14. Click on the Icon with 3horizontal lines in Top-Right Corner (Indicated with Red Arrow)

15. Click on “Download Surveys” to display the available surveys in the Portal.

16. Click on the Survey with your District Name from the List

17. The selected Survey will appear as Thumbnail
17. The selected Survey will appear as Thumbnail. Select the Survey and Click on “Collect” Button shown at the bottom of the screen.

Location Details 18. Type Assembly Constituency Name in “AC Name” Text Box 19. Type Part Number in “Part Name” Text Box & select relevant Polling Station from the list.

PS BMF Details Select “Yes” / “No” for all General Features Facilities existing at the selected Polling Station.

Basic Minimum Facilities 21
Basic Minimum Facilities 21. Select “Yes” / “No” for all Basic Minimum Facilities existing at the selected Polling Station.

Connectivity / Accessibility 22
Connectivity / Accessibility 22. Select “Yes” / “No” for Connectivity / Accessibility for the selected Polling Station.

Sensitivity Analysis 23. Select “Yes” / “No” based on the Sensitivity of the selected Polling Station.

Location 24. Long Press for 5 seconds on the “Circle” Icon on the Red Bar to start capturing the location. Circle will display a Point in the center to indicate that location is getting captured. Error Level will be displayed beside Lat/Long on Red Title Bar. Wait till error level come down to +/- 10 approx.

Location Marking 25. Click on the Map to display Map in full screen
Location Marking 25. Click on the Map to display Map in full screen. Then locate exact Polling Station Building and move the Red Marker on to the PS Location Building and click on ‘Right’ Mark to go back to the screen.

Photographs 26. Click on Camera Icon and capture three Photographs
Photographs 26. Click on Camera Icon and capture three Photographs. After completing the survey, click on Green Arrow Mark to complete the survey.

Completion of Survey 27. After completion of the survey for a Polling Station, click on “Send Now” Button to upload the survey if data connection signal is strong. If data connection signal is not strong, then click on “Send Later” Button.

Completion of Survey & Uploading to Server 28. After completion of the survey for a Polling Station, click on “Send Now” Button to upload the survey if data connection signal is strong. Clicking on this option will immediately upload the data to the Server. Uploaded data can be seen in “Sent” Folder.

Completion of Survey & Saving Data Offline in Tab to send later 29. After completion of the survey for a Polling Station, If data connection signal is not strong (particularly in rural areas), click on “Send Later” Button. Clicking on “Send Later” button will not upload data to the Server immediately but store data locally in “OutBox” Folder your Tab.

Offline Data which is not uploaded to Server i. e
Offline Data which is not uploaded to Server i.e., “Send Later” items will be appear in “Outbox” folder. Uploaded Survey Data will appear in “Sent” Folder

How to Upload Offline Surveys to Server
How to Upload Offline Surveys to Server? Completed Survey Data for each Polling Station will be stored in “OutBox” Folder. Click on “Send Surveys” button to upload the offline survey data to the server.

Uploaded Survey Data will appear in “Sent” Box. Clicking on a survey belonging to a PS will open the item for editing and resending after modification.

PART 3 Uploading of CAD Drawing & Key Map View

Draw CAD Drawing of Polling Station Building as shown in the next slide. The CAD Drawing shall include the following items: Entrance Door Exit Door Windows Measurements within the building Electric Points Seating arrangements of Presiding Officer Polling Officers Polling Agents Voting Compartment Basic Minimum Facilities available in the PS Indication of North Direction

Draw Key Map View of Polling Station Building as shown in the next slide & include: Location of Polling Station Roads with Road names Prominent Landmarks Traffic Flow (One Way Traffic or Two Way Traffic etc.) Distances etc. Indication of North Direction
