Why I Love Science Experiences!
2
Who am I? My name is Curtis Adams.
I teach at Valley View Intermediate School and have been for 6 years. This will be my 10th year teaching. I have a degree in Television Advertising and Minor in business marketing. I am a non-traditional teacher that decided to be a math teacher, which I still like to teach, but I fell in love with science because like my previously chosen career lets me use my imagination to do fun things and play.
3
My Goals: I have four general main goals as a teacher: convince my students that school is not prison by trying to help them find ways to enjoy learning, to get the like my subject, to get my students to remember what they have learned to use it in their life, and to wake up everyday and like my job.
4
Who are you? I just have 4 questions for you? Easy to hard.
What’s you name? Where do you teach? What do you like about your job? What are you the interested in?
5
My Goals For You Today: Provide you with some fun science experiences that you can take to your class to help get your students excited about science and to give them some concrete ways to see science in action around them. To have some fun today, and to show you that you don’t have to stop a lesson to have a huge lab. And to be a resource for you if you need me. Check out my website through the school. Link

When and How do we learn? We learn everyday…every second of the day and the more curious we are, the more we learn. We learn using our senses and skills: hear, see, touch, taste, smell, and reading, writing and doing. We retain the tings we learn by linking them to things we already know or experience in our everyday life.
