1. Advisory 1st Semester

2. There are only 2 requirements to receive a passing grade this semester:
Make effective use of advisory time
Complete 10 hours of community service/cultural events

3. What does effective use of time look like?
Earning As, Bs, snd Cs in all classes
Using Advisory to tutor others
Using Advisory to travel and receive help

4. What counts as community service?
Volunteering at any local agencies or events
Helping a church, neighbor, school, etc
Helping staff with school projects during advisory, before and after school, or on Saturdays

5. What counts as a cultural event?
A sporting or club sponsored event
Multiple games of same sport is 1 event
Quinceanera, church event, local parade, local festival
Experiencing something new
Riding the light rail, trip to a museum, tour a college campus
Save a ticket or brochure
Take a selfie at an event or place

6. Who signs my planner? Your advisory teacher
Tell them about your service or experience
Show them evidence that you completed
