What am I? Samba Music “I am widely performed in and better known in parts of South America. You will often hear me performed at colourful Carnivals, Dance and Street Parades in the summer. You cannot play me without lots of drums, which all play very fast and complicated rhythms”.

Samba Music HOW TO CREATE: GANZA, AGOGO, TAMBOURIM, REPINIQUE Use house-hold items such as tubs, bottles and plastic containers. Recycle them in to Samba Instruments. Filling them with items such as rice, pasta, or anything safe that makes a sound will replicate a variety of the instruments. You could just make a drum out of a biscuit tin. Or, a shaker from a bottle filled with rice! Remember – you should decorate your instrument. Make it colourful. Possibly make it in the colours of the Brazilian flag?
