Born: 12th February, 1809 in Kentucky, USA
Family - the second child of Thomas and Nancy Hanks Parents – farmers Schooling - educated himself - studied only one year Married - Mary Todd,1842 - had four children president of the United States the sixteenth president of the United States.

Biography He was a postman, lumberjack and carpenter. Linciln loved to read books, but he only had «the Bible» and «Robinson Crusoe». Lincoln was a very tall man (193 cm). He wore a hat, which kept the money and letters. He was incredibly smart, educated and sensible. He wrote many speeches and recited them at meetings. Many people considered him a great orator. The president was killed in the theatre by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.

It is the most popular and visited museum in USA. There is a library near the Museum. It contains books and documents with information about Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln`s Memorial
USA: there is the Lincoln Memorial. It was built in honor of this wonderful man. The memorial is open round the clock. Over 6 million people visit it every year.
