1 Letter Writing 2 – Business Letter
There are three basic types of letter, Business, Formal and Informal. Whichever letter you have to write in real life or is set as an exam question, you must make sure you use the correct layout for the letter.

Examples of Business Letterheads Note: On printed letterheads the sender’s address is printed wherever they want. SENDER ADDRESS:  Can be Letterhead or Left/Right/Centre Aligned Your Business Name Your Business Address Your Business Town Your Business Postcode Date (Before the recipient address USA style) Business Contact Name RECIPIENT ADDRESS – Always Left Aligned Business Name Business Address Business Town Business Postcode.  Date (After the recipient address UK style) Use two colours when you copy these slides. SALUTATION – Always Formal Translation Brochure Topic Heading Introduction I should be grateful if you would send us your brochure and price list of your translation services. Body Text We are currently developing our sales literature and web site and are interested in translating these into five languages apart from English.
