Map out vascular surgery training opportunities in the UK
Record trainee surgical experiences across the UK
Determine if there is variation in surgical exposure amongst trainees
Determine if training within each region is sufficient to cover all areas
Rouleaux club regional representatives assembled lists of vascular trainees and the procedures performed in each hospital in the region
An online survey was sent to vascular trainees
Data on number of each surgery performed over a 3 month period (01/11/ /01/2016) was recorded
Median values of procedures performed over the 3 months for each hospital and region was calculated
Heat maps were generated based on percentile
