4 Identify the Garment Part
Ask class to look at each picture and identify what garment parts are in each celebrity’s outfit. Tell students to discuss whether the garment parts are flattering to the various body types or not. 11 Student Assignment Create your own “Garment Parts and Styles” catalog. Using magazines or online sources, find one example of each of the following: Pant style Skirt style Dress style Bodice style Sleeve style Collar style You may choose to make your catalog on the computer or by hand. Once you have found your pictures, cut and paste them to a half sheet of paper.
