Physician Organizations Practice Group Mission
Physician Organizations Practice Group Strategic Plan 12/1/15 Physician Organizations Practice Group Mission Provide excellent resources, publications and programs that focus on the unique perspectives of physicians and physician organizations including – reimbursement and coverage clinical integration physician employment and compensation health information technology fraud and abuse. In selecting leaders and providing services to its members, the Practice Group emphasizes diversity with regard to age, gender, race, sexual orientation, geography and practice setting.

Improve “new member welcome letter” process. Conduct annual membership survey. Provide opportunities to meet PG leaders at in-person meetings. Quarterly Membership Calls Substantive topic of relevance as free benefit to PG members. PG leadership team update Develop and distribute recruitment flyers Annual Meeting and Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute Coordinate volunteers list and share with other Vice Chairs Coordinate Leadership Development Participants

12/1/15 Physician Organizations Practice Group Strategic Plan Physician Organizations Practice Group Research & Website Initiatives Objectives: Continue to monitor and enhance Physician Organizations PG website content and expand social media presence by providing more meaningful content and discussion via social medial outlets to PG members Monitor the Physician Organizations discussion list and promote its use Monitor the Physician Organizations PG website and coordinate any necessary changes Work with Social Media Coordinator, AHLA staff, and other PGs to collaborate and increase AHLA and Physician Organizations PG’s social media presence Develop document library and online resources for PG members Coordinate and publish e-alerts – goal of 1 per month
