UK Fire Sector initiative supported by DIT Active since mid 2016 Chaired by CFO Lee Howell Inauguration of the Joint International Fire Board Strategic Stakeholder Group as executive and controlling body Marketing Sub-Group also under way

DIT exists to support UK export growth Contributes to ‘Whole of Government effort’ Fire sector currently exports over £300 m pa Significantly increasing this figure appears feasible

Operating Principles DIT will promote our capability through Commercial Officers in countries worldwide And bring commercial opportunities to the UK supply base And support even-handedly the UK Fire Sector response JIFB is mechanism for co-ordination and dissemination of resulting opportunities Free market response is paramount; JIFB is not a Project Manager or Contractor
