This is a rice cake
Can eat at any time but best at new year
Another word for “nian” is year, so you could have a long lasting year

3. 刨冰 bao(4) bing(1) water ice This is a Taiwanese
Served with ice, fruits or other sweets
Like a snow cone but with things on top

4. tian(1) tang(2) Chinese dessert soups甜湯
This is a soup
It is not like American soup
It is usually eaten after a meal
e.g. 紅豆湯、綠豆湯、黑芝麻湯
