Antivirus utility – Prevents, detects and removes viruses
Uninstaller utility removes programs
Folder management utility - creating, viewing, deleting and rearranging files and folders Compression utility - reduces the size of files to free disk space
Disk Defragmenter – Recognises the files and unused space on a hard disk so that data more quickly
Back up utility – allows a user to copy, or backup files from one disk/storage device to another.
Diagnostic utility – Compiles technical computer information & helps outline any identified problems
Screen saver utility – causes the monitor’s screen to display a graphic automatically after a period when no input device is in use, for entertainment, security or business.
