Prepared Panther Guide > pp Naviance and Counseling Office Follow Next Slide Completely!

14 Follow this procedure for all colleges you are applying to.
We use the Naviance Edocs system to transmit transcripts, letters of recommendation, school profile, and any other required documentation electronically to almost all colleges. In order to do this, we need the student to follow this list of instructions: 1. As a junior, have colleges/trade schools you are interested in listed in Naviance in your Colleges tab as “Colleges I’m Thinking About”. 2. During fall of senior year, as you complete online applications to colleges, move those colleges in Naviance from “Colleges I’m Thinking About” to your application list called, “Colleges I’m Applying To”also in the Colleges tab in Naviance. 3. After submitting your application and moving that college to your “Colleges I’m Applying To” list, select the “Request Transcript” tab on the “Colleges I’m Applying To” screen. Check the box or boxes of colleges you have applied to and hit the “Request Transcripts” button at the bottom of the page. 4. After submitting your transcript request, come to the counseling office and pay your $3.00 official transcript fee. We cannot send your transcript until the fee has been paid. (Students in the Free and Reduced Lunch program may receive a transcript fee waiver for up to 5 transcripts.) 5. Request letters of recommendation from teachers if required by the college (use the Reference Letter Request Form found in the counseling office). Ask teachers to upload their letters to your Naviance file. Follow this procedure for all colleges you are applying to. 6. After choosing the college you will attend, go into your Naviance account, go to the colleges tab, "Colleges I'm applying to", find the "College that I am attending" tab and select your final choice college from the drop down list.
