4. Saturday ErSha Book Club
REFLECTION
Investigation – Set up Calendar & partner with each other. Decide books & themes. Space out any similar ideas. Cross reference with important dates that you may be involved in (SATs, APAC Sports…etc).
Preparation – Collect materials Set up, stations & clean up shift assignments. Make sign up sheet and monthly calendar. Organize with admin, staff, and security.
Action – Read enthusiastically and loudly. Make sure to include all kids in activities & monitor safety and fun!
Demonstration – Was able to really see the impact we have on others. Enjoyed planning of a connected activity. Felt responsible for the enjoyment and well- being of a group of kids
NOTE: This is an activity where older students read a book aloud to elementary students on Saturday mornings at our Elementary campus. Each book usually involves a theme and activity that accompanies the reading.
