9 What is a Transcript A transcript is a report card for every course you take while in high school.
This record follows you to each school you attend until you graduate from high school. Even after you graduate, your high school Transcript will be requested by schools you attend for higher education. Your future bosses and persons interested in your work ethic may want to see the effort you were willing to put forth during your high school years.

10 How to Request a Transcript
Complete the open records request form available in the counseling office. Must present a valid school ID or driver’s license. Transcripts are available 48 hours after the transcript request form is completed. While you are a current student, you get 10 free transcripts. After this, you will be charged $2 per transcript. Make sure you order your transcripts well in advance of your college application deadline!!

11 How Students Are Classified
We base your grade level on the number of credits that you have earned, not on the number of years that you have been in high school. 0.0 – 5.5 Credits = Freshman Credits = Sophomore 12.0 – 18.5 Credits = Junior Credits = Senior

12 How Can I Recover Credits
Online Credit Recovery (OCR) is a credit recovery option offered at Summit. See your counselor for more information!!

At this point, you are able to clear Absence Fails from the previous semester only (Spring 2016) .
