Relationships are more important than political positions.
Relationships with other Christians: I urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us Ephesians 4:1-3 Relationships with those who don’t follow Jesus: Act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Your speech should always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person. Colossians 4:5-6

Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfect of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne. Consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart Hebrews 12:1-3
