2 Food for the rich The Tudors had harder lives than we do now for example . The rich ate swans ,blackbird, chicken and pigeons .They couldn’t eat meat on Friday but they would of eaten fish and vegetable’s. These were the main big feast that they ate : brawn (boar meat) ,roast tongue, deer ,pork, roast beef, meat pie and rabbit.

3 Food for the poor The poor would of had acorn bread which would of bean a very nasty type of bread . They would of often had vegetables which made there diet more healthy than the rich because the rich ate more meat and not much vegetables. The rich thought that vegetables were poor people food

4 DRINKS The rich would drink wine from other countries such as France . The poor people drank beer and the toddlers drank butter milk . They would cheese and bread with beer the rich people however in the country side would wine as well and would live in the biggest house of the village !!!!!!!!!!!

5 Tudor work In Tudor times work was very important especially for the poor . The poor would have to work much harder than we do now. The father and the son would catch there meat together the son would walk behind the animal swiftly and the father would walk in front of it . When they caught it they would pull the feathers off the bird .They would gut it then roast and eat it , the villagers would work extremely hard when the mare decided to have a party. The food would have been very nice but the poor people who made the nice food would be eating rye and cheese. The lord manor would organise it at a poor person house. So the poor person wouldn’t be pleased if there was a party. The Tudors who where poor would clear up manure of animals and maybe it would be human manure. The children would clear it up as well as men .

6 TUDOR SPICES AND OLD FOOD
There was tea from china and chocolate from Mexico. Potatoes arrived in Britain in 1580’s (although at first they were thought to be unhealthy because they grew under ground). Turkeys were introduced from America around Coffee from Arabia first became popular in Italy during this period , and was known in England in the 16th century ( according to a bishop0).

HENRY THE VIII Henry viii is a well known as a powerful king who used to be a very fit , strong and tall. He used to hoarse ride and was a tennis player(tennis was different). He used to be a good musician and played lots of types of wind music; after awhile Henry stopped doing sport because he broke his leg after a terrible accident on his hoarse. Henry was not ready to be king and he had loads of big parties! DID YOU KNOW HIS BROTHER WAS GOING TO BE KING?

10 Henry the viii wives The first wife of Henry was called Catherine of Aragon who was Spanish. His second wife was called Anne Boleyn and Henry had her beheaded. The third wife was Jane Seymour who died by having babies. The fourth wife was called Anne
