1994 CCC approved CDP for 18 hole golf course project
Surfrider brought legal action against CCC challenging golf course CDP approval
Commission’s CDP approval upheld by Santa Barbara County Superior Court in 1996 and upheld by Court of Appeal in 1997
2002 Commission denied CDP extension request and CDP amendment request due to changed site circumstances (Red-legged frogs, wetlands, etc.)
2003 Applicants brought legal action against CCC for denial of golf course
